Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Tournamaker. Users under 18 must have permission from a parent or legally responsible guardian. Organizers who receive payouts must satisfy Stripe's identity and eligibility requirements.

2. Your Account

A. Account Creation

You must provide accurate, complete information when creating an account.

B. Account Security

You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials. We are not liable for unauthorized use of your account.

C. Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, disrupt tournaments, engage in harassment, fraud, or malicious activity.

3. User Content & Conduct

A. User Content

Users may create tournaments, upload images, send messages, and interact with others. You retain ownership of your content but grant us a license to display it within the App. You are solely responsible for any content you submit.

B. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to upload or engage in:

• Harassment, threats, hate speech, or discrimination
• Illegal, explicit, or harmful content
• Impersonation or misleading statements
• Violations of privacy, copyright, or intellectual property
• Spam, scams, or fraudulent behavior
• Attempts to manipulate tournaments or match outcomes

C. Moderation

Organizers and admins may remove participants or content within their tournaments. We may remove any content that violates these Terms or harms the platform.

4. Tournaments, Roles & Responsibilities

A. Organizers & Admins

Organizers can:

• Create tournaments
• Manage rules and scheduling
• Appoint admins
• Remove or ban participants
• Manage payouts via Stripe Connect

B. Participants

Participants agree to follow tournament rules and conduct themselves respectfully.

C. Disputes Between Users

We are not responsible for disputes between participants and organizers. However, we may intervene regarding fraud, safety, or platform integrity.

5. Payments, Registration Fees & Stripe Connect

Tournamaker processes tournament registration fees and organizer payouts using Stripe Connect. By creating or joining tournaments that involve payment, you agree to Stripe's Connected Account Agreement.

A. Registration Fee Processing

When a participant pays a tournament registration fee:

• The payment is processed securely by Stripe
• Funds are temporarily held in the Tournamaker platform balance
• We deduct a platform fee (typically 5–8%)
• Remaining funds become eligible for organizer payout after verification

B. Payouts to Organizers

Payouts are sent to the organizer's connected Stripe account after:

• The tournament has ended
• A verification period of 48–72 hours has passed
• No unresolved reports of misconduct or fraud exist

We may delay, deny, or reverse payouts if we suspect:

• Fraud or manipulation of match outcomes
• Misrepresentation of results
• Organizer misconduct
• Multiple user reports indicating issues

C. Refunds

Refunds for tournament registration fees may occur if:

• The tournament is cancelled by the organizer
• We determine the tournament was fraudulent or improperly run
• Technical issues prevent the tournament from occurring

Refunds are returned to the original payment method through Stripe.

D. Chargebacks

If a participant files a chargeback, Stripe may debit Tournamaker. We reserve the right to:

• Deduct the chargeback amount from the organizer's payout balance
• Withhold future payouts
• Terminate organizer access

E. Taxes

Organizers are responsible for reporting and paying taxes on tournament earnings. Stripe may issue a 1099-K or equivalent form if thresholds are met.

6. In-App Purchases

Non-registration in-app purchases such as participant tiers, upgrades, or subscriptions are processed through Google Play Billing (Android) or Apple App Store / StoreKit (iOS). We do not directly handle or store card information.

A. Verification

All digital purchases are verified server-side. Access may be revoked if purchases are refunded, cancelled, or flagged as fraudulent.

B. Refunds for Digital Purchases

Refunds must be requested through the relevant app store (Google Play or Apple App Store). We follow the applicable platform refund policy.

Tournamaker uses third-party services including:

• Firebase Authentication
• Google Cloud Firestore
• Firebase Storage
• Google Play Billing
• Apple App Store / StoreKit
• Stripe Connect

Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, design, branding, and features of Tournamaker are owned by Tzastech S-Corp. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, or distribute our intellectual property.

9. Disclaimers

Tournamaker is provided “as is” and “as available.” We make no guarantees about tournament accuracy, uptime, reliability, or user behavior.

We may update these Terms at any time. The “Last Updated” date will reflect the most recent changes. Continued use of the App means you agree to the updated Terms.
